The Buzzbar Espresso in Mortdale began selling Danes coffee in 2008. Matt Alderton, founder and owner of the Buzzbar concept, was committed to bringing a coffee offering to Mortdale previously unseen. The concept was simple – sensational coffee. Our mission is to serve sensational coffee to every customer, every time.
Since 2008, coffee sales have soared. We have a very loyal customer base and look after them with great coffee and great service. In turn, they look after us.
There are three reasons why a coffee at The Buzzbar Espresso Mortdale is the best coffee. Firstly, we serve a superior blend of coffee. Buzz serves coffee beans which are roasted by Danes Gourmet Coffees in Sydney and so are delivered fresh, unlike many major coffee chains where the coffee beans can be months old by the time they arrive at stores.
Secondly, we serve a superior quality of milk. Not only does it take a perfect espresso shot to make a sensational coffee, it also takes superior quality milk. Surprisingly, milk quality differs greatly from brand to brand. The Buzzbar Espresso serves Riverina Milk which has recently won the 2007 and 2008 Australian Grand Dairy Awards - Champion Milk.
Lastly, all our baristas are highly trained and accredited and are regularly assessed by Danes trainers. Our baristas watch every shot of espresso closely to ensure the perfect extraction, guaranteeing you a sensational coffee. And not only are they highly trained, they are also passionate about coffee – we all love our coffee!
Last Year, The Buzzbar Espresso Mortdale won the Most Outstanding Cafe Award for 2009 as voted by our customers. This prestigious award is Australia Wide and honours the outstanding coffee, service and other great products that The Buzzbar Espresso offers.
